Williamson exhibition: Gallery 2

Photographs from Another Place

Through forensic research and an almost voyeuristic obsession with the Gearing Collection, Ward’s new photographic work reflects on the very essence of what it is to be human, exploring family, loss, transience and memory through re-imagined and curated narratives, bringing Sydney’s photographs and artefacts back to a gallery he used to visit. It is a quiet consideration of our place in Sydney’s landscape and our increasingly fragile world.
